First Project in Australia

The Project

EEWH2’s first project (“Raglan Project”) in Raglan, Australia will capture early demand, using its 320MW electrolyser to produce 37ktH2 p.a. via its own solar & wind PPA

Current State

The Raglan Project will be operational by 2025/26, which will make EEW an early mover in the Asian markets

Our plan to deliver the project and next steps

  • Refine the project timeline based on most likely cases for technical and non-technical workstreams required before the first export date, and investigating potential bottlenecks
  • Build investment financing timeline for entire project
  • Explore partnerships with other potential green H2 players in the Raglan area and with local and global ammonia manufacturers including those already involved in projects in Australia
  • Establishing local presence in Japan/South Korea to build out local knowledge, credibility and a contact base within potential off-taker organisations
  • Bolster domestic internal capabilities for project delivery in Australia, including permitting, technical development and partnering.
